Question 1

What do rear end 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 161 recorded sales of the 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE with rear end damage, the median was $9,800, from $6,600 to $13,700. That is 15% above the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,100 a good price for this 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

1294 comparable 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,650 to $12,600. At $9,100 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HYUNDAI PALISADE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE's pre-damage retail value at $28,148. It sold for $9,100 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 65,779 miles high for a 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings at auction averaged 62,151 miles across 1294 sales, so at 65,779 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this HYUNDAI PALISADE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NC - MEBANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
