Question 1

What do front end 2020 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 446 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI KONA with front end damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,100 to $5,150. That is 5% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

1098 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI KONA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $6,000. At $3,700 this one went 5% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI KONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - SUSSEX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 101,353 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 64,936 miles across 1098 sales, so at 101,353 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 HYUNDAI KONA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
