Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2024 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2024 HYUNDAI KONA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $10,025, from $4,100 to $12,600. That is 35% above the $7,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,850 a good price for this 2024 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

2099 comparable 2024 HYUNDAI KONA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,400, spanning $4,250 to $10,800. At $12,850 this one went 74% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI KONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - GREENWOOD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HYUNDAI KONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 41,010 miles high for a 2024 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 25,206 miles across 2099 sales, so at 41,010 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
