Question 1

What do left front 2022 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2022 HYUNDAI KONA with left front damage, the median was $4,300, from $3,050 to $6,625. That is 4% below the $4,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,500 a good price for this 2022 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

1400 comparable 2022 HYUNDAI KONA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,250 to $7,100. At $3,500 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 31,489 miles high for a 2022 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 49,869 miles across 1400 sales, so at 31,489 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this HYUNDAI KONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CLAYTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This HYUNDAI KONA has left front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
