Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2020 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI KONA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,375 to $9,900. That is 23% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

1051 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI KONA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $6,000. At $8,000 this one went 105% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI KONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in ME - GORHAM. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI KONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 75,892 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 64,765 miles across 1051 sales, so at 75,892 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
