Question 1

What do left side 2019 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2019 HYUNDAI KONA with left side damage, the median was $3,875, from $3,150 to $5,250. That is 3% above the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HYUNDAI KONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This HYUNDAI KONA has left side and left rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 47,942 miles high for a 2019 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 73,941 miles across 818 sales, so at 47,942 miles this one sits 35% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this HYUNDAI KONA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - GARSON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
