Question 1

What do hail 2019 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2019 HYUNDAI KONA with hail damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,650 to $8,100. That is 68% above the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HYUNDAI KONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 125,819 miles high for a 2019 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 74,237 miles across 851 sales, so at 125,819 miles this one sits 69% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2019 HYUNDAI KONA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 HYUNDAI KONA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 HYUNDAI KONA was listed at IAAI as lot 46263161 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
