Question 1

What do rear end 2026 HYUNDAI KONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2026 HYUNDAI KONA with rear end damage, the median was $8,100, from $4,950 to $11,200. That is 14% above the $7,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 HYUNDAI KONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 9,694 miles high for a 2026 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 5,388 miles across 327 sales, so at 9,694 miles this one sits 80% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HYUNDAI KONA has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this HYUNDAI KONA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
