Question 1

This HYUNDAI KONA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HYUNDAI KONA was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

Is 47,516 miles high for a 2018 HYUNDAI KONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HYUNDAI KONA listings at auction averaged 78,163 miles across 412 sales, so at 47,516 miles this one sits 39% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this HYUNDAI KONA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - ST-EUSTACHE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 HYUNDAI KONA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 HYUNDAI KONA was listed at IAAI as lot 12516753 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6
