Question 1

This HYUNDAI ELANTRA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a ns-salvage-nova scotia mean for this HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was sold on a ns-salvage-nova scotia. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 114,954 miles high for a 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 70,646 miles across 1468 sales, so at 114,954 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KMHD84LF3KU883570?

Accepted Answer

KMHD84LF3KU883570 identifies this specific 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA in silver with a 2.0l i-4 dohc, vvt, 147hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was listed at IAAI as lot 12233200 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
