Question 1

What do front end 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1277 recorded sales of the 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA with front end damage, the median was $4,200, from $3,250 to $6,100. That is 6% below the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,300 a good price for this 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

2971 comparable 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,300 to $6,600. At $3,300 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HYUNDAI ELANTRA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA's pre-damage retail value at $11,995. It sold for $3,300 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HYUNDAI ELANTRA has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 53,301 miles high for a 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 57,554 miles across 2971 sales, so at 53,301 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
