Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 496 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $10,300, from $6,225 to $12,350. That is 175% above the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

3249 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,100 to $10,200. At $9,000 this one went 140% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI ELANTRA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - INDIANAPOLIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 31,716 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 64,731 miles across 3249 sales, so at 31,716 miles this one sits 51% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
