Question 1

What do vandalism 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 193 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA with vandalism damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,150 to $4,900. That is level with the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,850 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

3249 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,100 to $10,200. At $3,850 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI ELANTRA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI ELANTRA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 49,683 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 64,731 miles across 3249 sales, so at 49,683 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
