Question 1

What do hail 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 57 recorded sales of the 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA with hail damage, the median was $3,775, from $3,050 to $5,500. That is 13% above the $3,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

1009 comparable 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,350, spanning $3,050 to $4,400. At $3,900 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI ELANTRA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - TEMPLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 64,516 miles high for a 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 80,971 miles across 1009 sales, so at 64,516 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
