Question 1

What do front end 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 402 recorded sales of the 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA with front end damage, the median was $3,350, from $3,050 to $4,200. That is 4% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

1467 comparable 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $5,300. At $3,100 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this HYUNDAI ELANTRA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - CONSHOHOCKEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 35,970 miles high for a 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 70,665 miles across 1467 sales, so at 35,970 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 HYUNDAI ELANTRA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
