Question 1

This HYUNDAI ELANTRA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale mean for this HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this HYUNDAI ELANTRA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 999,999 miles high for a 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 80,809 miles across 1039 sales, so at 999,999 miles this one sits 1137% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KMHD35LHXHU363820?

Accepted Answer

KMHD35LHXHU363820 identifies this specific 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA in blue with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 173hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was listed at IAAI as lot 44003592 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
