Question 1

This HYUNDAI ELANTRA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Is 40,210 miles high for a 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA listings at auction averaged 43,887 miles across 6319 sales, so at 40,210 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this HYUNDAI ELANTRA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - THUNDER BAY. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA was listed at IAAI as lot 12595106x and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KMHLM4AG7PU399153?

Accepted Answer

KMHLM4AG7PU399153 identifies this specific 2023 HYUNDAI ELANTRA in grey with a 2.0l i-4 dohc, vvt, 147hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only.
