Question 1

How far is this HYUNDAI ACCENT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 102,340 miles high for a 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT listings at auction averaged 51,758 miles across 17 sales, so at 102,340 miles this one sits 98% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KMHCT5AEXGU245818?

Accepted Answer

KMHCT5AEXGU245818 identifies this specific 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT in white with a 1.6l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HYUNDAI ACCENT was listed at COPART as lot 72445656 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
