Question 1

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

328 comparable 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $11,600, spanning $6,100 to $16,400. At $6,100 this one went 47% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This HONDA RIDGELINE has suspension and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 35,167 miles high for a 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 17,860 miles across 328 sales, so at 35,167 miles this one sits 97% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2024 HONDA RIDGELINE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with suspension damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
