Question 1

What do rear 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE with rear damage, the median was $5,900, from $4,275 to $8,850. That is 4% above the $5,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,850 a good price for this 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

688 comparable 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,650, spanning $3,650 to $8,600. At $8,850 this one went 57% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This HONDA RIDGELINE has rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 79,894 miles high for a 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 112,611 miles across 688 sales, so at 79,894 miles this one sits 29% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
