Question 1

What do side 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 74 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE with side damage, the median was $11,800, from $6,700 to $15,000. That is 18% above the $10,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

734 comparable 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $10,000, spanning $4,750 to $15,450. At $3,250 this one went 67% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA RIDGELINE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE's pre-damage retail value at $24,984. It sold for $3,250 — 87% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 78,666 miles high for a 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 33,432 miles across 734 sales, so at 78,666 miles this one sits 135% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
