Question 1

What do rear 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE with rear damage, the median was $9,100, from $7,550 to $12,250. That is 14% above the $7,963 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,600 a good price for this 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

315 comparable 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $7,963, spanning $4,700 to $12,200. At $7,600 this one went 5% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 63,553 miles high for a 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 58,219 miles across 315 sales, so at 63,553 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
