Question 1

What do front end 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 351 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE with front end damage, the median was $9,000, from $4,400 to $14,200. That is 10% below the $9,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

745 comparable 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,975, spanning $4,950 to $15,500. At $8,900 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - SHADY SPRING. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 45,100 miles high for a 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 33,557 miles across 745 sales, so at 45,100 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
