Question 1

What do rear end 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE with rear end damage, the median was $8,650, from $5,100 to $12,000. That is 22% above the $7,113 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

341 comparable 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE listings sold at auction for a median of $7,113, spanning $4,000 to $11,600. At $8,600 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA RIDGELINE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE's pre-damage retail value at $29,564. It sold for $8,600 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA RIDGELINE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - ELLWOOD CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 35,249 miles high for a 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA RIDGELINE listings at auction averaged 70,393 miles across 341 sales, so at 35,249 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
