Question 1

What do front end 2022 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 879 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA PILOT with front end damage, the median was $8,425, from $4,750 to $12,400. That is 6% below the $9,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1828 comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $4,750 to $13,800. At $8,700 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA PILOT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HONDA PILOT's pre-damage retail value at $32,358. It sold for $8,700 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NC - GASTONIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 37,966 miles high for a 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 54,560 miles across 1828 sales, so at 37,966 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
