Question 1

What do left side 2017 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 90 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA PILOT with left side damage, the median was $4,738, from $3,450 to $6,850. That is level with the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,200 a good price for this 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

2326 comparable 2017 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,350 to $7,300. At $6,200 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This HONDA PILOT has left side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 75,037 miles high for a 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 117,975 miles across 2326 sales, so at 75,037 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
