Question 1

This HONDA PILOT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

Is 165,359 miles high for a 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 128,684 miles across 2777 sales, so at 165,359 miles this one sits 29% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

What can I find out from VIN 5FNYF6H9XGB107916?

Accepted Answer

5FNYF6H9XGB107916 identifies this specific 2016 HONDA PILOT in grey with a 3.5l v-6 di, vvt, regular , 280hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 HONDA PILOT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HONDA PILOT was listed at IAAI as lot 46248497 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
