What do rear end 2016 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Across 229 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA PILOT with rear end damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,300 to $6,500. That is 5% above the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2016 HONDA PILOT?

2860 comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,250 to $6,600. At $3,350 this one went 24% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA PILOT sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA PILOT's pre-damage retail value at $18,367. It sold for $3,350 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA PILOT?

This 2016 HONDA PILOT was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 85,385 miles high for a 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 129,168 miles across 2860 sales, so at 85,385 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
