Question 1

What do rear 2016 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 76 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA PILOT with rear damage, the median was $4,525, from $3,200 to $6,375. That is 3% above the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,225 a good price for this 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

2798 comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,250 to $6,650. At $7,225 this one went 64% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-mt mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage-mt. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MT - MISSOULA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This HONDA PILOT has rear and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 69,094 miles high for a 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 128,973 miles across 2798 sales, so at 69,094 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
