Question 1

What do front end 2018 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 760 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA PILOT with front end damage, the median was $4,950, from $3,400 to $7,600. That is 5% below the $5,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HONDA PILOT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in VA - FREDERICKSBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 88,474 miles high for a 2018 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 102,897 miles across 1518 sales, so at 88,474 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HONDA PILOT. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5FNYF6H12JB020688?

Accepted Answer

5FNYF6H12JB020688 identifies this specific 2018 HONDA PILOT in black with a 3.5l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
