Question 1

What do front end 2016 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1255 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA PILOT with front end damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,250 to $6,300. That is 3% below the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 57,080 miles high for a 2016 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 128,855 miles across 2786 sales, so at 57,080 miles this one sits 56% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 HONDA PILOT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5FNYF5H7XGB031381?

Accepted Answer

5FNYF5H7XGB031381 identifies this specific 2016 HONDA PILOT in white with a 3.5l 6 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
