Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA PILOT with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,300, from $6,200 to $13,400. That is 28% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2020 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1358 comparable 2020 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $6,500, spanning $3,950 to $11,000. At $6,500 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MO - BRIDGETON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HONDA PILOT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 12,028 miles high for a 2020 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 80,885 miles across 1358 sales, so at 12,028 miles this one sits 85% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
