Question 1

What do rear end 2019 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 181 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA PILOT with rear end damage, the median was $6,450, from $3,950 to $10,100. That is 9% above the $5,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,400 a good price for this 2019 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

2062 comparable 2019 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,650 to $9,400. At $8,400 this one went 42% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA PILOT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA PILOT's pre-damage retail value at $23,149. It sold for $8,400 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA PILOT has rear end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 62,429 miles high for a 2019 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 93,639 miles across 2062 sales, so at 62,429 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA PILOT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
