Question 1

What do side 2018 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 159 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA PILOT with side damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,400 to $8,300. That is level with the $5,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MO - BRIDGETON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HONDA PILOT. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This HONDA PILOT has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 52,748 miles high for a 2018 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 102,855 miles across 1511 sales, so at 52,748 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 HONDA PILOT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 HONDA PILOT was listed at COPART as lot 52675744 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
