Question 1

What do front end 2018 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 757 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA PILOT with front end damage, the median was $4,950, from $3,400 to $7,600. That is 5% below the $5,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,600 a good price for this 2018 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1511 comparable 2018 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $5,200, spanning $3,400 to $8,300. At $7,600 this one went 46% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA PILOT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 HONDA PILOT's pre-damage retail value at $21,478. It sold for $7,600 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This HONDA PILOT has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 66,802 miles high for a 2018 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 102,855 miles across 1511 sales, so at 66,802 miles this one sits 35% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
