Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA PILOT with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,925, from $3,475 to $7,200. That is 4% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,625 a good price for this 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

2443 comparable 2017 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,350 to $7,300. At $6,625 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA PILOT was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HONDA PILOT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 129,890 miles high for a 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 118,095 miles across 2443 sales, so at 129,890 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
