Question 1

What do hail 2017 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 76 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA PILOT with hail damage, the median was $7,200, from $4,250 to $10,200. That is 52% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Is 165,518 miles high for a 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 118,040 miles across 2368 sales, so at 165,518 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2017 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2017 HONDA PILOT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5FNYF6H56HB012218?

Accepted Answer

5FNYF6H56HB012218 identifies this specific 2017 HONDA PILOT in grey with a 3.5l v-6 di, vvt, regular , 280hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 HONDA PILOT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 HONDA PILOT was listed at IAAI as lot 46333133 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
