Question 1

What do water/flood 2022 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA PILOT with water/flood damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,500 to $11,100. That is 14% below the $8,963 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,700 a good price for this 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1943 comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $8,963, spanning $4,750 to $13,750. At $5,700 this one went 36% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA PILOT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HONDA PILOT's pre-damage retail value at $31,471. It sold for $5,700 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HONDA PILOT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 43,000 miles high for a 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 55,276 miles across 1943 sales, so at 43,000 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
