Question 1

What do rear 2022 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA PILOT with rear damage, the median was $9,900, from $5,100 to $14,500. That is 11% above the $8,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,350 a good price for this 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1901 comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $8,950, spanning $4,800 to $13,775. At $10,350 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA PILOT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

This HONDA PILOT has rear and left rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BRANDYWINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 79,332 miles high for a 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 54,944 miles across 1901 sales, so at 79,332 miles this one sits 44% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
