Question 1

What do all over 2021 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 28 recorded sales of the 2021 HONDA PILOT with all over damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,150 to $9,900. That is 15% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,325 a good price for this 2021 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1986 comparable 2021 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,050 to $11,600. At $9,325 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA PILOT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 HONDA PILOT was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 HONDA PILOT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 20,793 miles high for a 2021 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 72,012 miles across 1986 sales, so at 20,793 miles this one sits 71% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
