Question 1

What do left front 2022 HONDA PILOT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 55 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA PILOT with left front damage, the median was $9,050, from $4,500 to $13,400. That is 1% above the $9,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,950 a good price for this 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

1872 comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $4,750 to $13,800. At $8,950 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA PILOT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA PILOT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 77,249 miles high for a 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA PILOT listings at auction averaged 54,806 miles across 1872 sales, so at 77,249 miles this one sits 41% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 HONDA PILOT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was MERCURY INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
