Question 1

What do top/roof 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY with top/roof damage, the median was $6,950, from $3,200 to $8,400. That is 16% above the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

2138 comparable 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,800 to $9,100. At $3,200 this one went 47% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $19,493. It sold for $3,200 — 84% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA ODYSSEY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MN - HAM LAKE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 127,851 miles high for a 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 111,016 miles across 2138 sales, so at 127,851 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
