Question 1

What do left side 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY with left side damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,200 to $5,150. That is 10% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,900 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1550 comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,141 to $6,650. At $5,900 this one went 44% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA ODYSSEY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - PORTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 92,082 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 108,130 miles across 1550 sales, so at 92,082 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
