Question 1

What do front end 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $5,525, from $4,300 to $7,225. That is 35% above the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,750 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1554 comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,141 to $6,600. At $5,750 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $20,817. It sold for $5,750 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 47,732 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 108,143 miles across 1554 sales, so at 47,732 miles this one sits 56% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
