Question 1

What do front end 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 439 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $8,300, from $4,550 to $13,000. That is 7% below the $8,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this HONDA ODYSSEY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IA - DES MOINES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 49,357 miles high for a 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 60,437 miles across 1067 sales, so at 49,357 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2022 HONDA ODYSSEY come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
