Question 1

What do rear end 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 169 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY with rear end damage, the median was $7,000, from $3,900 to $11,000. That is 9% above the $6,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1180 comparable 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,400, spanning $3,800 to $11,300. At $3,900 this one went 39% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $19,494. It sold for $3,900 — 80% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 85,095 miles high for a 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 79,471 miles across 1180 sales, so at 85,095 miles this one sits 7% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
