Question 1

Was $15,525 a good price for this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

2323 comparable 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,063, spanning $3,750 to $10,000. At $15,525 this one went 156% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $24,300. It sold for $15,525 — 36% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clear (connecticut) mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a clear (connecticut). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This HONDA ODYSSEY has rear and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 78,056 miles high for a 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 92,099 miles across 2323 sales, so at 78,056 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
