Question 1

What do front end 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $5,525, from $4,300 to $7,225. That is 35% above the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,875 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1556 comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,100 to $6,600. At $4,875 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $16,617. It sold for $4,875 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage (north carolina) mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a salvage (north carolina). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 127,759 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 108,189 miles across 1556 sales, so at 127,759 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
