Question 1

Was $4,250 a good price for this 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

17 comparable 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $4,000 to $7,500. At $4,250 this one went 4% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $15,218. It sold for $4,250 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 86,416 miles high for a 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 107,308 miles across 17 sales, so at 86,416 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was New Jersey Manufacturing Group. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2012 HONDA ODYSSEY come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with right front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
