Question 1

What do rear 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY with rear damage, the median was $13,050, from $7,900 to $17,200. That is 15% above the $11,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 32,063 miles high for a 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 40,545 miles across 977 sales, so at 32,063 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has rear and frame damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this HONDA ODYSSEY located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
